PROJECT ENGINEER - CIVIL WORKS

For the past 10 yrs we have been involved in most key civil infrastructure projects in QLD.
Due to extensive growth we are looking for a Project Civil Eng. to hit the ground running.
Ideally, you will be
- Qualified with 7yrs on site exp. in Road, Rail, or Earthworks on projects above $m500.
- Including civil construction works, major groundwork’s, reinforced concrete works; steel works, drainage, and all associated engineering practices.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will assist in the daily progress of the project, manage contractors &ensure that safe & effective work practices are carried out.

NATIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER - Unearth, dig and seal

As National Operations Manager your key accountability is to grow the business over the next 5 years, whilst continuing profitability. You will need to come from a strong background in a Civil Construction discipline, degree qualified with vision and entrepreneurial skills.
The key accountability is to grow the business over the next 3 years, whilst continuing profitability. After gaining an in-depth understanding of the business, establish strong working relationships with key internal staff to continue the close knit culture. Your role will involve
• Identify new business/referral channels (for local councils, government and semi government institutions such as RTA, Energy Aust. Sydney Water etc.)
• Explore/secure new business and Tender opportunities.
• Further develop relationships with key customers; and be abreast of appropriate projects on a state/national level.
• Evaluate existing corporate governance, internal policies/processes to ensure best practise principles.
• Utilising in-depth knowledge of the construction industry to review current/future sales targets.
• Bring industry knowledge, strategic vision, networks and hands-on management approach to the role.
You will need to come from a Civil Construction discipline and be a qualified civil engineer with networks within the Civil Construction Industry. An MBA with a Civil Construction background or very Senior Project Manager, would also be considered. The role will be primarily in Sydney with certainly a lot of travel interstate or wherever the projects lead you. Remuneration according to experience and suitability.

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

Due to continued growth there is a need for a Contracts Administrator who will support the Commercial team and Construction Director.
Ideally you will be:
- Tertiary qualified.
- A Contract Administrator with 4 or more years of relevant experience administering contracts up to $15 million.
- Experienced in letting and managing structure trade packages
- Proficient communication and negotiation skills
- Technically proficient in civil, commercial and large residential structures.
- Administer contract procedures and forms
- Measure and prepare claims, variations and dayworks
- Establish and prepare project financial analysis and forecast cost to complete.
- Prepare construction programmes.
- Maintain and develop excellent relationships with colleagues, clients and subcontractors
